I love rainbows! Each color has its unique hue and individuality. But when these colors
merge, it creates a distinctive shade that results from the harmony of colors.
Such a beauty to behold!
As Francis Magallona’s
famous song says, we are indeed in a Kaleidoscope world, for every color and
every hue is represented by me and you.
Though each one of us is unique as individuals yet we are connected
through relationships such as family, friendships and communities.
Often times these relationships
are severed by different personal convictions and at times, personal gains. Pride,
selfishness, anger, hatred and bitterness should never be the language of our
souls.
We were created for love and forgiveness that result
to harmony and peace. Jesus demonstrated
these at Calvary. His meekness amidst the humiliation and his declaration of forgiveness
for those who screamed for his death are the very reasons why we have peace and
hope.
As people of God, let us
choose to forgive as we are forgiven. Let us decide to be rainbows and not be
thunders and lightning!
